A new book claims Prince Harry has been accused of conducting loyalty tests on his staff after he started dating Meghan Markle.
"This was fermenting for a long time - before Meghan," the author of "Courtiers: the Hidden Power Behind the Crown" stated. Harry was fixated on the media. He was miserable.
The author said, "He would use this phrase all the time, 'Palace syndrome,' when you won't fight the fights he wants you to because you're institutionalized. Giving in to the media was an important sign of whether you have developed it.
"Are you going to defend me?' was a regular test of allegiance, the book stated. Or are you now simply one of those people who won't stand up for me? It was draining.
The author said, "Harry's obsession with the media; his sense of frustration that he was not achieving all that he could; his distrust of courtiers in other households; the steadfast loyalty of his staff." Test: All of this was in place before Meghan arrived on the scene.
But things will get a lot worse after he appears. Many of them found the experience extremely challenging. Some told me they were devastated, sick, and shaking.
