Jacob Batalon cast doubt on 'Spider-Man 4' future: Report

Spider-Man actor Jacob Batalon is not expecting MCU Spider-Man 4 to see the light of day.

During an interview with Collider, the Reginald the Vampire actor opined that he and his co-stars aren't looking forward to a fourth Spider-Man film, "Honestly, I don't put too much thought into it. I think so." That we're all moving in ways where we're not expecting it to be. It's not that it's bad, I just feel like we're not expecting another movie. I think so. Like we're all doing our own thing. But then, what happens, happens."

But with Peter Parker's friend willing to work on a fourth Spidey-hero movie, I feel like the actors are the last ones. I think people think that actors are always hiding secrets. I promise you, we don't know anything. But then again, if it's the right place, at the right time, with the right group of people we've been with, I'd say, why not? But other than that, what happens, happens. These decisions are up to the big bosses, the people who sign the checks. We're open to the idea, but we're not expecting it."

Meanwhile, MCU Spider-Man 4 is in the early stages of development.
