Charlie Cox on the return of "Daredevil": "I assumed it was a joke"

Charlie Cox, the star of Daredevil, can't believe he once felt it was a joke when he was asked to reprise his role.

I believed it was a prank, the Marvel star revealed in an interview with CinePop. I assumed it was a joke.

"I then considered that it was possible because I received a message on my answering machine asking Kevin Feige's assistant to call us back. Then I pondered the possibility that everyone was being invited to a Covid charity function. And after that, I call someone and ask, "Do you want to be in Spider-Man?" It's just crazy. My wife is sitting on the stairs of my house and is staring at me in the garden, asking, "What's going on?" It was insane; it was just crazy. It was fantastic, and it was a boyhood dream."

Charlie Cox will star in a brand-new Disney series called Daredevil: Born Again after making brief appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk.
