Ghislaine Maxwell admits Prince Andrew is 'paying the price for their friendship

Ghislaine Maxwell opens up about her friendship with Prince Andrew in a recent interview.

Speaking about the Duke of York, she told The Sun on Sunday: "I feel so bad for him. I follow what's going on with him."

When she was reportedly told that Andrew's legal team claimed they were not close friends, she added: “I accept that this friendship cannot sustain my conviction.

"He is paying so much for the association. I consider him a dear friend. I care about him."

Earlier this year, as once mentioned so much Ms. Giuffre had misplaced the original photo.

It comes years after Prince Andrew's interview with the BBC in 2019, where he described the photo of assault accuser Virginia Geoffrey as 'fake'.

"With the investigation, we've done, you can't prove that the photo is fake because it's a photo of a photo… No one can prove that the photo is fake, but I Can't do that. Remember the picture that was once taken."
